Debra A. Nossaman, DVM, FAVD, DAVDC; Carly Czuba, DVM; and Katy Levitt, DVM

Dr. Debra Nossaman is a board-certified veterinary dentist, a veterinary dental specialist, and a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College, a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry, and co-founder of Dallas Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery, with her husband Tony. She opened her first hospital in the Phoenix, AZ area in 1987. A love for animals and a degree in Biology led Dr. Nossaman to a very fulfilling career in veterinary medicine.

"Animals give us so much and ask only for love. I thoroughly enjoy helping others keep their pets healthy! A healthy mouth is a key part of keeping the rest of the body healthy!"

Dr. Nossaman is married to Tony Nossaman. Tony is her business partner and Chief of Business Operations at Dallas Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery. Dr. Nossaman is also the proud parent of two adult children, Colin and Erin, and five grandchildren, Carson, Dayton, Fallon, Tia, and Hazel. Their home is filled with pets: two dogs, Riley and CeCe; three cats, Louie, Pounce DeLeon, and Tater; and three horses named Goya, Dino, and Red. Dressage, golf, running (having completed several marathons), and gardening are among her many hobbies.

Dr. Katy Levitt
is pursuing a residency in veterinary dentistry. Prior to her residency, she was an owner and veterinarian at a private practice in Dallas for several years.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance and International Studies from Emory University in Atlanta before going to Louisiana State University to obtain her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Levitt completed two externships with Dr. Nossaman while she was in veterinary school, which helped her realize her passion for veterinary dentistry. Away from the office, Dr. Levitt loves playing the piano, running, and traveling.  At home, Dr. Levitt and her husband live with their two young daughters, two dogs (Kaiser and Bonaparte), and a citron-crested Cockatoo named Tumbleweed.

Dr. Carly Czuba
will be starting a residency with Dallas Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery in veterinary dentistry in the fall of 2022.  Dr. Czuba spent 3 years in the Caribbean and 1 year at Cornell prior to graduating from St. George’s University in 2010.  She then completed a 1-year rotating small animal internship in New York City at the ASPCA Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital.  After several years of general practice and emergency hospital experience, she realized her passion for healing pet’s mouths.  After attending her first Veterinary Dental Forum in 2016, Dr. Czuba knew she wanted to pursue a residency in veterinary dentistry.  She has recently moved to the DFW area from Oklahoma City with her husband, their two young children (Asher & Sloan), and two cats (Garfield & Potato).
