Summary:
In this talk, Radiation Oncologist Stephanie Cook, DVM, DACVR (Radiation Oncology) and Medical Oncologist Sara Allstadt, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology) from Veterinary Specialists of North Texas will come together to help the referral community understand which cases will benefit from cancer treatment and basic outcomes with different treatment options. Dr. Cook will review the different types of radiation therapy that are available to our referral partners and which patients will benefit best from each modality of radiation. The two doctors will come together to review several tumor types that may benefit from treatment with radiation and chemotherapy to help referral partners understand treatment outcomes so they can best help their clients determine if referral is an option they wish to explore.
