Tammy Grubb, DVM, MS, DACVA
Dr. Grubb is a board certified veterinary anesthesiologist with a strong clinical interest and research focus in pain management. She is a 1985 (BS) and 1989 (DVM) graduate of Texas A&M University. Dr. Grubb was in a mixed animal practice following graduation and then moved on to do a large animal medicine and surgery fellowship at Oregon State University. On completion of the fellowship, she enrolled in an anesthesia residency program at the University of Illinois where she obtained ACVA Diplomate status and finished a master’s degree in cardiovascular physiology. Before joining the faculty at Washington State University, Dr. Grubb was on the faculty of two other veterinary schools (The Ohio State University and Oregon State University) and was in industry (with Pfizer Animal Health). Her favorite achievement was earning the Carl J. Norden Distinguished Teaching Award.
