Carrie A Davis, DVM, DACVAA and Dana Neelis, DVM, MS, DACVR

Carrie Davis, DVM, DACVAA
Dr. Davis received her DVM from The Ohio State University in 2004. Her internship with Carolina Veterinary Specialists in 2004-2005 led to her position as an emergency clinician from 2005-2011. A move to Charleston, SC afforded her the opportunity to not only continue as an emergency clinician during 2011-2014, but become the medical director of the emergency department with Veterinary Specialty Care. Dr. Davis then followed her passion, going back for residency training in anesthesia and analgesia at the University of Tennessee from 2014-2017. As a board certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Davis is trained and truly enjoys providing specialty anesthesia care for all animals that may be in your family, with a special place in her heart for horses, tiny dogs and pot belly pigs! She grew up in Ohio with hobbies of barrel racing and working with the standardbred industry. She now relaxes with gardening, hiking and all things nature has to offer.

Dana Neelis, DVM, MS, DACVR
Dr. Neelis received her DVM from Michigan State University in 2006. After completing her radiology residency at Washington State University in 2011, she took a position as assistant professor at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. She performed an equine ultrasound and cardiology fellowship with Dr. Virginia Reef at the University of Pennsylvania, New Bolton Center, prior to her radiology training. Dr. Neelis enjoys imaging all species and has extensive experience with the equine.
